Three Sticks Monument - Leflore County, Oklahoma - Summer 2014
I almost had to give up and drive back up to here to get info on who and why this is here. Here is a snipet from and article I found on line plus I will share the link for credit at the end.
Dedicated in the late 1950s by the residents of LeFlore and McCurtain County, the three sticks symbolize land, wood, and water and collectively honor these men, as the monument reads, “In appreciation of the leadership in the rapid development of our state roads, water, forest, and recreation.” -
